Join The Lit Advocate: Reading Teachers for Virtual & Onsite Lessons
The Lit Advocate is now becoming The Lit Advocates! We invite teachers in Pasco County (and the surrounding areas) with experience teaching intensive reading interventions to apply by completing the form below. This is a great opportunity for teachers who've retired from the classroom or taken a break from full-time teaching, and who are looking to continue teaching privately on a part-time basis.
Who We AreThe Lit Advocate is a private education provider offering individualized lessons and tutoring, camps, reading clinics, and literacy evaluations for K-12 and homeschool students. All in-person offerings - including lessons, clinics, and camps - are held from 9AM - 5PM at our Dade City Learning Center.We are currently seeking one or two teachers experienced in reading instruction to teach part-time onsite in Dade City, between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, with additional opportunities (optional) for virtual teaching in the afternoons & evenings.Why We Do What We DoWe believe in an open-concept education that breaks down the walls of the traditional classroom to make learning a unique and powerful experience for each individual student. We believe in consistent, open communication between parents, students, and teachers; we believe "it takes a village."Where We're LocatedWhile we also offer virtual options, our Dade City Learning Center is an indoor classroom fully furnished with a complete library, two whiteboards, technology, and all the resources needed for a fun and engaging teaching and learning experience.
