The Dade City Garden Club will open their 2018-2019 program year with a meeting focused on educating the public as to the importance of butterflies as pollinators and how we all can make a difference in helping our Monarch recover here in Florida. Anita Camacho, President, NABA-Tampa Bay (North American Butterfly Association) will be discussing the Monarch Migration, Waystations for Monarchs, selecting milkweed for our region in Florida, and how anyone can contribute to saving the Monarch and pollinators in general. Held at the Dade City Garden Club, the meeting will open at 9:30 am with light refreshments and beverages. Program is free and is open to members and non-members alike.
