Antiques, vintage and an array of vendors for a special Christmas Shopping experience. Children's Christmas Crafts, Children's games, entertainment, food trucks, and Museum Buildings decorated for Christmas Pioneer style by the Dade City Garden Club Circles.
The Museum's Concession Stand will be offering freshly made grilled chicken sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and more.
Free photos from 1-3pm.
11am-1145am and 1-145pm Live entertainment with Gypsy Wind at the Gazebo and picnic table area. Gypsy Wind will entertain us with some Kentucky bluegrass to gypsy swing, Gypsy Wind embodies a new take on an old blend of jazz, swing and acoustic music.
FUN activities for kids!
Reindeer games will begin at 10am outside and inside at the Mable Jordan Barn. Games are 50 cents each and prizes or candy given out. Those games will include ornament bowling, (bean bag toss) tossing cookies in Santa's or Frosty's mouth, Santa Limbo, ring toss, pin the nose on the reindeer, pick a duck and more.
Children's Crafts (make an ornament). We will provide the supplies to make a pinecone birdseed feeders with peanut butter & ornaments in the Mable Jordan Barn. 50 cents each.
We offer FREE punch and cookies, while they last, at the Grace Dew Cafe (near the Cummer Building)!
Elf hat hunt - win candy and prizes when you turn in your completed form to the Grace Dew Cafe (while supplies last).
Cutest Elf Costume Contest for ALL Ages! Dress up in your best Elf outfit. Show your creativity!
Offering 5 age groups:
Infant - 2 years at 1030am
3-5 years at 1045am
6-8 years at Noon
9-15 years at 12:15pm
16 year plus at 1230pm
Criteria for judging:
Creativity - Was the costume made creatively, colorfully and does it show personality?
Originality - Does the costume stand out from all the rest?
Effort - Did the costume take time and effort and it it a complete outfit from masks to feet?
Other activities to see and do include: model trains at the Trilby Depot, Blacksmith demonstrations at the Blacksmith Shop, Cane chair making at the church, pine needle basket making, etc. All buildings will be open.
Lots of vendors that range from custom made crafts, clothing, beauty products, patio furniture, unique gift items, community organizations offering (while they last) giveaway items and some may have an activity for a very minimal fee, and so much more to visit!
We are accepting canned goods for The Thomas Promise Foundation at the entrance.
We do out best to make this event a family friendly low cost event and raise money for our non profit museum at the same time. It allows us to host school field trips at a reasonable price and provide historic preservation and education in our community. We hope you will come out and support The Pioneer Florida Museum and all of our vendors.
Vendor fees are $45 for regular vendors, $65 for food trucks or food vendors, $20 extra for electricity. Spaces are 10'x12'
The health and welfare of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our highest priority.
Pasco County Ordinance: EVERYONE (under 2 years are exempt) has to wear a face covering while in indoor public places within Pasco County.
Please wear your mask when you enter The Pioneer Florida Museum, practice social distancing, and wash or bring your own hand sanitizer to sanitize your hands often. The museum frequently sanitizes common areas and has hand sanitizer available. If you are sick, please stay home.Tell a Friend
