Learn how planners can get involved to promote community gardens and sustainability during the COVID pandemic.
Community gardens provide value in multiple ways. Access to sustainable, local food, educational opportunity, place-making and beautification are all encompassed in these spaces. During this webinar, Dr. Whitney Elmore, Cooperative Extension Director from the University of Florida IFAS Pasco County Extension, will explore these benefits, the ways community gardens empower citizens and how planning departments can get involved and use this spaces to better their communities.
